At Virginia Martial Arts Center, we're giving students all across Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and Suffolk the chance to enjoy a safe, supportive environment where they can learn awesome martial arts skills and also enjoy dedicated homework assistance. Our Transported After School Karate (TASK) program is designed with your children’s needs in mind. TASK offers a constructive alternative to traditional after school care with an exciting Martial Arts class each day.

What's Included In Our After School Program?
Our goal is to provide a fun and exciting system where students can learn something new every day. Rather than wasting away in front of a screen, our After School program here at Virginia Martial Arts Center gives students the chance to challenge themselves and have a blast. Our character building program is a constructive alternative to daycare for all children, along with all-day camps for in-service/school holidays. We offer awards for Honor Roll and for taking responsibility at home, and we are a licensed Martial Arts school, not a daycare. Don’t settle for less!
Our transportation service extends to those children that attend school in Western Branch, Churchland, and Northern Suffolk. Once the children arrive at our professional martial arts facility they take martial arts classes, as well as, participate in other after-school activities. Parents can pick up their children by 6:15 pm.
